03 | Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Massage

This service incorporates multiple modalities, tailored to treat musculoskeletal conditions as prescribed by a physician for rehabilitation relating to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle collision. Service includes initial evaluation, treatment, ongoing assessment, clinical documentation and more. No discounts are available to any patient or insurance company. We can bill your PIP carrier as a courtesy; nothing due at Time of Service.

Pricing is up to $54 per 15-min unit, not per hour.

Cupping

Silicone cups are placed on areas of muscular stagnation. the suction from the cups draw the muscle and the superficial layers of the skin into the cup to allow blood flow and relief. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

Hot Stones

Hot Stones can be added to any Swedish or Deep Tissue session.  Not only do the hot stones melt away tension, ease muscle stiffness, but they have an incredible grounding effect for your mental and physical wellbeing.

Aromatherapy

Increase your sense of calm and connectedness to your mind and body with complimentary aromatherapy.  Essential oils are distilled from plants and provide wonderful healing benefits for the body and mind. Choose our Doterra or Young Living Essential oil Blends.  They provide provide the most therapeutic grade oils on the market. SomaFlow Health and Massage currently offers Rosemary, Lavender, Sage, and many other stand alone oils or we can create a blend that's right for you. 

Gua Sha

Gua Sha is a myofascial technique first developed in Eastern Medicine. It is used to treat muscle pain and tension by using a gua sha tool against the skin to stimulate blood flow. Gua Sha can be used to treat back pain, tendon strain, and carpal tunnel syndrome.

Sound Therapy

Begin and end your therapeutic massage sessions with complementary sound bathing.  Weighted tuning forks, Tibetan singing bowls and Native American flute are utilized to begin and end your bodywork session to promote deeper relaxation, calming emotions/anxiety, energy center balancing, and quieting the mind
